SeA WoRlD BaBy!!!

With Sea World just a  couple of hours from us we just HAD to take advantage and make a fun trip out of it. We decided to go to Sea World to celebrate Braydon's birthday. We went with Clint and Katie and had SO much FUN! And the best part? We got to go for F-R-E-E! Military can go to Sea World once a year for free. And not only that but we also got 30% off inside the park too. So all of our food and souveniers were cheaper too. LOVED IT!
Here is the fam waiting for the Shamu show to start. Notice the flower in Ambrias nose. Her life is a never ending search for flowers. She is OBSESSED!!!! We can't go anywhere without finding a flower for her.
Our awesome ten year old. Man he is getting so big!!
The kiddos got to lean over this pool to try to pet the dolphins. But their little arms couldn't quite reach.
Our favorite part of Sea World were the whale shows. Shamu ROCKS!!
The kids totally loved to see the whales do tricks and flips out of the water. Braydon was a little dissapointed that we didn't get wetter when they splashed the audience. Crazy kid, lol. Ambria plays in the bath now with a little whale and her little people are the audience watching the whale do flips out of the water, it's pretty much the funniest thing EVER!!

I don't even know what this thing is, but Ambria just HAD to touch it.
Katie was SO excited to ride this ride, we couldn't say no. Hahhaa, just kidding. She was a good sport to sit with the kiddos. They are so cute to watch on these rides. I wish you could see Morgan better in this photo, she was so fuuny putting her arms up in the air for the whole ride while Ambria said "oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!!"
They had a whole little section of the park that was Sesame Street themed. They characters did a little song and dance and then came out to meet the kiddies.
Sea World was amazing and I'm so glad we went while the guys are still here. We have a checklist of things we want to do before D day. So Sea World....check!!

Random Funness

My musical little girl. She was singing her heart out while hitting some serious star power, haha.
The kiddos sure love to snuggle with their daddy. And let's not kid ourselves, he loves it too!
I can't believe Sadie sat there and let this happen!
Ambria wearing her make up. If you look closely you can see Braydon lounging in the background. haha.

The Most Romantic Date EVER!!!

(This was back in September but I just found these pictures so I thought, better late than never) Before we left Alabama Jason was able to get his civilian fixed wing liscense. GO JASON! Anyway, he planned the most amazingly awesome romantic date night ever. We rarely ever get date nights so this was a HUGE treat. He rented an airplane for the evening and flew us to Montgomery for dinner. It was SO fun to get to fly with my hubby as the pilot! Now I can say from experience that he is a GREAT pilot! LOL. We forgot our camera so all these are from the cell phone, but here are a few highlights of the evening.
This is the best one we could get of the two of us while flying....
After we landed, we started Taxi-ing(?) to where we were parking and I saw a limo sitting on the tarmac and I jokingly said to Jason "Hey look there's our ride! Hahaha!" But as we got out of the plane the driver rolled out a red carpet for us! I was shocked, I had no idea Jason had got a limo!! It was so fun to get out of the airplane and go right into the limo. Neither of us has ever been in a limo before so we were really have fun! haha.
 Awwwe, so roomy back here!!!
Jason made reservations at a really fun restaurant. It was in the Renesaince Hotel in downtown Montgomery. It was hilarious to watch all the people watching the limo drive up thinking there was somebody famous or important in there. And then two average, normal people get out!  We would laugh everytime, "Hahha! Got ya!!"  Here is the food we got at this fun restaurant, the portions were small but just enough. The food was AMAZING! Jason had Bison and I had Pork Tenderloin.
After dinner, we jumped back in the limo and the driver took us on a fun little tour of Montgomery. We got to see places like, the whitehouse of the confederate, Martin Luthers church that he preached at, and several other Civil War monutments and historical sites. We went to Hank Williams gravesite and then ended at the Shakespeare Festival. SO FUN! Then headed back to the airport and jumped back in the plane and took off for a beautiful night flight home. The lights of the citites were so pretty and a great way to end a perfect night! It was the BEST date EVER! Not sure if anything could really top this! I'm just sayin!!!!

The next week we were able to get an airplane again to fly to Dothan to see our brother in law, Clint, who was at Fort Rucker for training. We brought the kiddos this time. This was a quick snapshot I got of their experience in the back of the plane, haha. They look less than thrilled to say the least. No, they really did have fun but were very glad when we landed! Haha! That was a really fun trip too, it was nice to see Clint and hang out for a while. We ended up getting stranded there the whole day because of thunderstorms that we couldn't fly through, but we had a lot of fun! It's so cool having a pilot husband! Can't wait for more fun experiences!!!

Fun Little Surprise!

It was a pretty boring saturday, we were wondering how we were gonna entertain ourselves when suddenly THIS came along! This is in my next door neighbors' front yard! He's about 5-6 feet long, and they said he came from the woods BEHIND MY HOUSE and was probably bullied out by a BIGGER one! (words of comfort, I know!!) It sat there for a while until animal control got there, they weren't great friends to say the least! In fact I think little Gator here, pretty much hated that guy!
They made several attempts to capture the little fella. This (below) was not the last. Every time they tried to get a hold of it, he would bite on the pole and rip it away. Finally they got him after a few rolls around on the ground and some tackling.
Yeah, they hog tied him-enough said.
And now for the photo op.

Georgia Aquarium

We took a little trip to the Georgia Aquarium with some friends Easter weekend! It was a blast, we decided to make a weekend of it and headed up there Friday afternoon, got a hotel room and and got Hard Rock takeout. Then Saturday morning we got up and ventured to the Aquarium. It was so cool! These are just a few pics, but my favs were the sharks, it was so neat to see. I've never been to an aquarium before so I think I was more excited than the kiddos.

Our Trip To Utah-In a Nutshell....

Because I am such a terrible blogger, here is a quick re-cap of our fun Christmas Vacation in Utah....... We spent a month in Utah over Christmas break and it was so much fun. We got to play in the snow, build an amazingly awesome snowman, visit with our families, and relax. Jason and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary..I can't beleive it's been 9 years! It was so nice to be able to leave the kiddos with family and go out on date! Ambria mastered climbing out of the crib while in Utah and Braydon mastered snowball throwing. Both big milestones for the kids! And we were able to talk my amazingly talented sister in law Amberly to snap a few shots of the fam! They turned out great, she is an awesome photographer, thanks so much Amberly!!
Christmas '09 rocked! Hopefully we will have a repeat in '10..........cross our fingers!

HaLLoWeEn PaRtY!!!

Well Halloween time has come to an end and boy am I glad it is over. What a crazy busy month I have had. November will not be any better but we still had a ton of fun! Lots of Halloween events this year. Trunk or Treatin at the church, a battalion Fall Festival full of trick or treating, haunted houses, hay rides, jumping castles for the kids, food, games, face painting, it goes on and on. We had a bunch of our closest friends over for a halloween bash on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. We had lots of yummy food like witches brew and garlic soup (to keep the vampires away) and spooky desserts. We played a few games with the kiddies, and then went trick or treating. The kids had a blast. We made costumes out of toilet paper. Braydon was really not very happy about his costume, haha. We are such mean parents. Here's Ambria enjoying the festivities.
The kids are searching for clues that took them around the house on a "ghost hunt" to find all the ghosts that were inhabiting our home. Luckily they found them all!!
They had to walk like Frankenstein in this relay race.
We also played pin the spider on the web, then we had a "monster mash", where the kids had to stomp on all the balloons to get the prize inside and Kristin told some scary ghost stories. Then headed out into the freezing wind and rain to trick or treat! Ambria was such a trooper, she went to every house and said "shrick O tweet!" She loved trick or treating! She caught very quickly to how it works. Thanks everyone for coming and making this a great Halloween. Now onto Thanksgiving! Yum.

Carving Pumpkins and Such....

Here is the fam in our Halooween "get up" this year. Jason (breifly) dressed as a ninja, and when I say breifly I mean just long enough to take the picture. I was cupid, Braydon was SWAT, and Ambria was an angel. Pulling the guts out of the pumpkin. I love the look on Braydon's face. He thought it was SO gross, he got totally grossed out and couldn't even finish so Jason ended up doing the rest, but with a spoon, haha. And here is the finished product. Braydon designed it on paper and then they carved it. He was so proud of his JAck o lantern.

AIRBORNE!

These pictures didn't upload in the right order, but here is Jason's airborne graduation and his final jump. It was so awesome to go and see! Braydon got to pin daddy's jump wings on him. He was a little nervous, but he did an awesome job! It was so cute!
Here is the fam after graduation. It was so windy and cold out that day, we were all bundled up. (well at least as bundled up as you ever have to be out here in Alabama, haha)
This is Jason taking off his parachute and gear that he jumped with.
Run, Jason run! Running in from the feild he jumped in. They land pretty far off from where they have to come, so I think they ended up having to run a mile to get to us, with ALL their gear and 2 parachutes.
All in all Jason really liked this training. He had so much fun. He was home practicing his landings off the bed and couch, and showing us all how to exit the airplane! It was a lot of fun! He was able to go through airborne with a couple of his friends, Aaron and James, they didn't get put in the same "stick" but he made some other friends and really had a fun time! I am so thankful that he had no injuries after the whole experience. Way to go Jason! I am so proud of you! Airborne!!

oDDs & eNDs

A few random pics.....Last saturday we went to Callaway Beach with our friends. It was a blast. The kids loved digging in the sand. Not the best of pics, but whatever.
I love this one though!
Braydon building a sand fort with his best bud!
This was just too funny not to throw in here. Braydon has his adult teeth in in the front, so they are a little bigger than his baby teeth.
And just to clarify, Braydon's teeth don't really look like that. He put corn on them.....I realized after I posted this that you might not be able to tell from the picture. Hahaha!!!

A Day With Uncle Clint

Our brother in law, Clint got to come from Korea to Alabama for a few days for some training, so we of course made the 4 hour drive up to Huntsville to see him for a day. It was so good to see him and hang out for a while. We just wish we would have been able to see Katie and Morgan too. We went out to eat and swam at the hotel. It was a lot of fun! Below is Braydon eating his steak. This kid thinks he's too big for kids meals anymore so he got to order a big meal. He ordered steak and LOVED it! Ambria wanted in on some of that action. She grabbed the steak off Jason's plate and started nibbling on it. She would just suck on the meat, I guess she really liked the flavor.
It was so CUTE how both the kids took to Uncle Clint right away. Ambria is usually a little picky who she goes to, but she would just come to Clint and just hug him and snuggle with him. I was lucky enough to get this picture of them after she went over to him and just layed on his shoulder for a while. So cute!! I didn't get a picture of it, but Braydon did the same thing to him.
Here's Braydon and Clint. And yes Jason made a camio in this shot, can you find him?
Thanks for hangin out with us, Clint. We miss you guys!! Can't wait to meet up in Washington. (hopefully)
