HaLLoWeEn PaRtY!!!
Well Halloween time has come to an end and boy am I glad it is over. What a crazy busy month I have had. November will not be any better but we still had a ton of fun! Lots of Halloween events this year. Trunk or Treatin at the church, a battalion Fall Festival full of trick or treating, haunted houses, hay rides, jumping castles for the kids, food, games, face painting, it goes on and on. We had a bunch of our closest friends over for a halloween bash on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. We had lots of yummy food like witches brew and garlic soup (to keep the vampires away) and spooky desserts. We played a few games with the kiddies, and then went trick or treating. The kids had a blast. We made costumes out of toilet paper. Braydon was really not very happy about his costume, haha. We are such mean parents.
Here's Ambria enjoying the festivities.
The kids are searching for clues that took them around the house on a "ghost hunt" to find all the ghosts that were inhabiting our home. Luckily they found them all!!
They had to walk like Frankenstein in this relay race.
We also played pin the spider on the web, then we had a "monster mash", where the kids had to stomp on all the balloons to get the prize inside and Kristin told some scary ghost stories. Then headed out into the freezing wind and rain to trick or treat! Ambria was such a trooper, she went to every house and said "shrick O tweet!" She loved trick or treating! She caught very quickly to how it works. Thanks everyone for coming and making this a great Halloween. Now onto Thanksgiving! Yum.
Carving Pumpkins and Such....
Here is the fam in our Halooween "get up" this year. Jason (breifly) dressed as a ninja, and when I say breifly I mean just long enough to take the picture. I was cupid, Braydon was SWAT, and Ambria was an angel.
Pulling the guts out of the pumpkin. I love the look on Braydon's face. He thought it was SO gross, he got totally grossed out and couldn't even finish so Jason ended up doing the rest, but with a spoon, haha.
And here is the finished product. Braydon designed it on paper and then they carved it. He was so proud of his JAck o lantern.
