Ambria's 3rd Birthday

We had a little party for Ambria while we were Utah at Christmastime, but when we got back to Texas, we had a little cake for her on her actual birthday. I can't believe my little girl is 3!! I don't want her to grow up, I wish she would stay my little princess who likes to have her hair look pretty and wear a pretty dress all the time. I really hope it stays that way, it's fun having my own life size dress up doll.

All of these pictures were taken from my phone, sorry about the quality.

Tales Of A Bad Little Blogger

I have been a bad little blogger. I have been keeping myself so busy that I have completely neglected the bloggin world for the past couple of weeks. Here's a quick recap. And sorry I don't even have recent pictures to post right now. Like I said. A BAD little blogger.
This 'ole house has been hustlin' and bustlin' trying to get ready for Christmas. We leave for Utah in exactly one week from today. and counting. Can't wait!! I feel like I have SO much to do. But for the most part, we are ready for christmas. bring it on.
Jason has been busy at work. kickin butt and taking names. doin some flyin and having fun doing it.
Braydon has been super busy at school, they have been doing a lot of testing, and he's so glad that's over now. He is definitly ready for Christmas break. He's been such a good helper/bigbrother/cousin/son. While Katie and Clint have been staying with us, Braydon has been such a good helper with the kiddos, he will always get down and play with them, and "buddy" can ALWAYS make them laugh. He has been a great sport too having to live in mom and dad's room and letting Aunt Katie and Uncle Clint have his room.
Ambria is a busy body all the time anyways, but she has been going to school and making fun Christmas projects. and her best friend/cousin, Morgan gets to come to school with her now, so it's even MORE fun! She is super excited about Christmas and this year is SO fun because she understands Christmas a little more and I love to see her eyes light up EVERYTIME she sees a Christmas tree or Santa Claus or anything to do with Christmas. SO FUN!
I have been busy with Christmas stuff. I wish I had more time to do all the things I want to do. But, such is life.
This weekend we are hoping to take the kids to see some fun Christmas lights at the lake. I will try to get some pictures to put up on here. And I promise to try to be a better blogger.

And congratulations to Brian and Marqae!!!! I can't wait to see your little angel!!

Braydon, Braydon, & Braydon

Braydon is growing so much these days. He's not really a little kid anymore. He's ALMOST as tall as me and he has pretty much passed me up in shoe size. Yeah, you heard me right. His new shoes are LOOSE on me! Braydon and I can share shoes. In fact, I have worn his flip flops before, SSSHHHH don't tell him! haha! He is a great big brother and is such a good help around the house. We sure love our "little" boy. No matter how much bigger than me he gets, he will always be our little boy. He's has been a very good big cousin too. He is so cute with Morgan and Jackson. Morgan calls him "little buddy", hahhaa. Anyways, I just wanted to put up some recent photos of the Bodabon. Below is at Halloween.......
No matter how old he gets, riding in the cart NEVER gets old!!! It's so hard to push the cart with him in it though, it's like having an adult riding in there!!
The new Chick Fil A in Killeen opened up, Ambria was too afraid to go see the cow, but not this kid!

Two Peas In A Pod

Katie and her kids are here visiting and looking for a place to live for when they move out here soon. We're so excited to have them near, it's gonna be loads of fun. Morgan and Ambria might as well have been sisters. They hit it off RIGHT AWAY! Besides the normal "that's my toy!" bickering, they get along great and it's so cute to watch them play together, they are so much alike. I'm so glad they have eachother and can now grow up together.  These pictures are so cute. They both came out of Ambria's room wearing this. They "dressed" themselves in their "spin dress" as Ambria calls it because she can spin like a Princess in it. :)
This one is kinda fuzzy cause they were dancing and spinning while I was trying to get a good pic of it.

The Most Romantic Date EVER!!!

(This was back in September but I just found these pictures so I thought, better late than never) Before we left Alabama Jason was able to get his civilian fixed wing liscense. GO JASON! Anyway, he planned the most amazingly awesome romantic date night ever. We rarely ever get date nights so this was a HUGE treat. He rented an airplane for the evening and flew us to Montgomery for dinner. It was SO fun to get to fly with my hubby as the pilot! Now I can say from experience that he is a GREAT pilot! LOL. We forgot our camera so all these are from the cell phone, but here are a few highlights of the evening.
This is the best one we could get of the two of us while flying....
After we landed, we started Taxi-ing(?) to where we were parking and I saw a limo sitting on the tarmac and I jokingly said to Jason "Hey look there's our ride! Hahaha!" But as we got out of the plane the driver rolled out a red carpet for us! I was shocked, I had no idea Jason had got a limo!! It was so fun to get out of the airplane and go right into the limo. Neither of us has ever been in a limo before so we were really have fun! haha.
 Awwwe, so roomy back here!!!
Jason made reservations at a really fun restaurant. It was in the Renesaince Hotel in downtown Montgomery. It was hilarious to watch all the people watching the limo drive up thinking there was somebody famous or important in there. And then two average, normal people get out!  We would laugh everytime, "Hahha! Got ya!!"  Here is the food we got at this fun restaurant, the portions were small but just enough. The food was AMAZING! Jason had Bison and I had Pork Tenderloin.
After dinner, we jumped back in the limo and the driver took us on a fun little tour of Montgomery. We got to see places like, the whitehouse of the confederate, Martin Luthers church that he preached at, and several other Civil War monutments and historical sites. We went to Hank Williams gravesite and then ended at the Shakespeare Festival. SO FUN! Then headed back to the airport and jumped back in the plane and took off for a beautiful night flight home. The lights of the citites were so pretty and a great way to end a perfect night! It was the BEST date EVER! Not sure if anything could really top this! I'm just sayin!!!!

The next week we were able to get an airplane again to fly to Dothan to see our brother in law, Clint, who was at Fort Rucker for training. We brought the kiddos this time. This was a quick snapshot I got of their experience in the back of the plane, haha. They look less than thrilled to say the least. No, they really did have fun but were very glad when we landed! Haha! That was a really fun trip too, it was nice to see Clint and hang out for a while. We ended up getting stranded there the whole day because of thunderstorms that we couldn't fly through, but we had a lot of fun! It's so cool having a pilot husband! Can't wait for more fun experiences!!!

Ambria's Artwork

The Elementary school here has a little program called "Little Stallions" for PRE preschool age kids to go and learn a little bit and get used to a classroom environment. It's one hour a week and they have stories and a little lesson and then an art project and snack. I love it!! And so does Ambria, it's so fun to take her. The school is just a couple blocks through the neighborhood from our house so sometimes Ambria gets to ride her bike to school just like big brother and she parks her bike right next to his on the bike rack, hehhe. She thinks she is such a big girl! Anyways, here is a cute little project they recently made at school. So the quality of this picture isn't great, it was taken on my phone. This is a placemat. She did SO good! I was so proud of her. This little girl absolutley LOVES to do artwork and color.
And I totally love dressing her up and doing her hair all cute for school, so its a win win for us both, hahha.

Happy Halloween

Here are the cute kiddos on Halloween. Ambria, of course, was tinkerbell. She definitly played the role too. I even had to give her pixie dust so she could fly. It was so much fun!
Here are the two of them. Braydon made an AWESOME Mario! My mother made his costume and it looked great. He got a lot of compliments on it. And he played the role well also. He even sported the Italian accent!

The hubby and me. We haven't had a new pic in a while cause I HATE the way I look in pictures.  Jason, however looks great!

Chatter Box

This is just plain HILARIOUS! You'll have to watch to see what I mean. (Sorry about the quality of video, it was taken on the cell phone.)
Not quite sure what she was saying or why, but thus is the mind of a two year old, hahah.

Caution! I ramble on for a long time here.

So I know it has been a very long time since I've updated this blog, but things have been so busy. With the move and everything else that has been going on, it's been crazy.
We did take some pictures, however I will have to post those later. But here's what we've been up to.
On Sep 27, we packed our house in a Penske truck, loaded the kids up, said some tearful goodbyes and started on our long journey to Fort Hood, Texas. At this point we did not know where we were gonna be living when we got here, we planned to be in a hotel for a while and just off load the truck into a storage unit until we found our new place. The drive went really well (all things considered). The kids did pretty good. Jason drove the Penske truck and towed our trailer behind him while I followed in the Trailblazer. Most of the time the kids wanted to be in the big truck with daddy so I was by myself (which was AWESOME!) I turned the music up and probably looked like an idiot singing to myself. haha. We stopped the first night in Shreveport and stayed the night, then got up the next morning to finish our drive. The whole thing went pretty fast. We were making pretty good time and then we got almost to Temple, Texas (about 30 minutes or so from our destination) and we stopped for some gas and to stretch a little, and piled back into the cars and headed for the interstate. I turned around to check for traffic to merge and something happened in my lower back and I got a really bad sharp pinching pain that shot down my legs and I couldn't move (scariest moment ever) I thought I was going to crash because I couldn't move my legs. Long story short, we were able to pull back over and get out. I have no idea what happened, but I am so glad we were so close to Fort Hood at that point, because I couln't really drive much longer. It hurt so bad to be sitting and I couldn't even bend over. But we were so close so I just dealt with it and kept on going.
Finally, we rolled into Killeen and found a great hotel to call home. And the next day started the search for a place to live. We were looking for rentals, because we are not sure we want to purchase out here. We first checked out post housing and ran away screaming as fast as we could. It was a little stressful and overwhelming trying to find a good decent area to live in a place that you know nothing about. We had heard from a few people to try Copperas Cove, that it was the best city to live in so we went there. We drove around that place for 2 days and we couldn't find the nice part. So we gave up there. Short story long, we FINALLY found a place in a good part of Killeen with a good school for Braydon, and super close to everything!
Since we didn't know anyone here that could help us move. We just googled the church out here and randomly got a ward and they offered to help us. Oddly enough we ended up being in their ward boundaries and we were so thankful for their help.
This was probably the most stressful move we have ever made, with all the other little problems that kept happening throughtout the whole process, but we prayed A LOT and we really feel like we are where we are for a reason, like we were led here. We are very happy so far with Braydon's school, it is WORLDS different from his school in Alabama, and they even have a pre-preschool program for Ambria. She gets to go to school once a week with other kids her age and they have their own little classroom and homework and everything. She loves it. The school is just around the corner from us so we can walk.
The kids are adjusting really well. Braydon is happy to be in a fun school and Ambria is still trying to figure out what the heck just happened, but so far it's been good.
Oh, I still haven't seen a doctor about my back (Jason just in processed Tricare today) so I just try not to do anything that hurts it. I'm pretty sure I know what it is and hopefully the doctors will be able to do something about it.
I will try to get some new photos up as soon as I can. We are still trying to get re organized.
