Here are the after effects of Jason's second shoulder surgery. It's a pretty big cut! It looks like the just about cut the whole arm off! For those of you who don't know, he was having some pretty bad problems with his shoulder, like pain, and it kept coming out of joint, and he wasn't able to lift his arm above his head with it coming out and a lot of pain. So he went under the knife for the second time on this shoulder. The Dr said that they were working on him for about 5 straight hours and that it was a really long, hard surgery. They had to take a peice of bone from his clavical and put it in his shoulder to keep it in place and stop it from coming out of joint. He said that this is probably the most painful surgery that he could have had. It's gonna take a long time (5 months to a year) to recover from this and he has to go to physical therapy 3 times a week. Poor Jason! Here's to a quick recovery!! He is doing better and is able to move his arm a bit now. He hasn't had to take his pain meds as often lately, so he's very happy about that.
